PA in the community
Pacific Anaesthesia believes that every organisation has a responsibility to demonstrate good global citizenship. As a medical group, we strive to be a leader in creating positive impact in social and environmental domains. By supporting global charitable partners, we hope to provide a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate.
We continue to look for new initiatives that improve the health and wellbeing of our local and global healthcare communities and review our day-to-day operations to ensure our environmental impact is minimised.
Charitable Partners
Did you know that Australia is the safest place in the world to have an anaesthetic?
Pacific Anaesthesia is proud to support Lifebox, working to improve anaesthetic and surgical safety globally in countries less fortunate than ours. Our financial contributions support Lifebox in distributing basic monitoring equipment to anaesthetists where there is usually none available, such as blood oxygen and breathing monitors, considered a cornerstone of safe anaesthesia.

Sustainability initiatives
Pacific Anaesthesia strives to minimise its environmental impact. All correspondence is sent electronically and we encourage patients to use our individualised online anaesthetic information to ensure they are prepared for their anaesthetic and provide consent – there is no need to print and return signed documents to us!
We understand that from time-to-time, electronic correspondence may be difficult to use. Upon request, we are happy to provide printed documentation on 100% recycled paper.
Pacific Anaesthesia uses 100% renewable energy to power all of our operations.

Supporting Lifesaving Donations – One Drop at a Time
At Pacific Anaesthesia, we’re committed to making a meaningful impact both inside and outside the operating theatre. That’s why we proudly provide paid leave for our staff to donate blood—recognising the vital role blood products play in saving lives every day.
In Australia, one blood donation can help save up to three lives. With over 1.7 million donations needed annually, blood is essential for trauma care, surgery, cancer treatment, and complications during childbirth—many situations our anaesthetists witness firsthand.
We believe supporting our team to give back in this way is just one of the small but powerful ways we can live our values and contribute to a stronger, healthier community.
You can join us. Visit Lifeblood to find your nearest donation centre and book an appointment—because giving blood is one of the simplest ways to make a real difference.
